UCL EDUCATE has been short-listed in the inaugural London Business Awards.
The programme has been named in the Ambassador Category, under the Paying it Forward sub-heading.
The London Business Awards recognise the accomplishments of businesses and key individuals based in the capital over the past year. The Paying it Forward Award recognises an individual or organisation who constantly gives back and helps others within the business network, paving the way for those around them to succeed.
The awards will be judged by a distinguished panel of London influencers including Rajesh Agrawal, Deputy Mayor of London for Business, and will meet this Friday, February 15 to decide the winners in each category. These will be announced at the London Business Awards ceremony, at The Brewery, on Thursday, February 28, in front of 700 guests including CEOs, entrepreneurs and supporters of London’s business community.
Professor Rose Luckin, EDUCATE Director, said: “We are absolutely delighted to be short-listed for the prestigious London Business Awards.
“The EDUCATE programme has been in operation for less than two years, so this recognition is a testament to how far it has come, and the impact it has had on supporting businesses and entrepreneurs in the development of educational technology, and in the technology sector as a whole, both in the capital and beyond.”
Among the nominees in other categories is Tassomai, one of EDUCATE’s participating companies, which is short-listed in the Growth and Future of London categories.
