EDUCATE cohorts awaiting results of Bett Awards 2019

Several EDUCATE cohorts will find out tomorrow whether they are among the winners in the Bett Awards 2019.

The awards, which will be announced at a special ceremony at the Bett Show, include 21 categories covering every aspect of EdTech design. development and business collaboration.

Overall, EDUCATE start-ups, SMEs and entrepreneurs are mentioned 19 times in the list of finalists, with some appearing in more than one category.

The Bett Awards celebrate the creativity and innovation in the EdTech sector and form an integral part of the Bett Show each year. The winners have excelled in ICT provision and support in education, with a focus on what works in the classroom.

Professor Rose Luckin, EDUCATE Director, said: “The inclusion of so many of our cohorts, in so many categories, is a testament to their hard work, innovation and entrepreneurialism, and to the contribution of the EDUCATE programme to the sector.”
